I Was Born To Love The World

It is spot on, I was born to love the world. I am reminded of it everyday.

Joan of Arc was fearless and after being reminded once again of her undying courage I came up with a goal six months ago in Paris France to have my twentieth year of life be fearless. Although, I may not have had the most pleasant encounters in result of this goal, I have been doing much better at being fearless than I thought. Fear used to encompass me, I am freeing myself.

Excerpt from five months ago: A first journey on my fearlesslistic attitudes.
"Without thinking twice, I walked right into the Venetian river. The very feet I walk on were submerged within it's depths, talk about fearless. Jessica made me wash my feet twice and came in to check that I was using soap. She says I have to sleep on the hotel floor but that's fine with me--my feet have touched the infamous river of Venice, Italy."-May 26, 2010

What pleasant words to be said. Usually, only moments later I would skip to the middle of the block and entryway of the condos to find the loveliest green eyed girl. We then embarked on endless adventures usually ending with soaked clothes or singing marathons. Katie Jones has seen all of it, she has seen me pre-puberty, yelling, crying, jumping off rooftops and making out with a brick wall. Plus, the great thing is I have seen her in same situations. Life truly was bliss as a child.

Today i get to see her. Reminiscing with an old pal is always exciting. And a little bit scary. Remind me why grew up again?

Paco Bell

At Taco Bell on campus, they called out your favorite Disney characters name instead of your real name for you to pick up your food. Hearing "Quasimodo" really helps lighten the mood right before a three hour class. I of course was:Mama Odie.

Myke asked me if he could have one of my grapes. Confused, I stared at my plate but said yes anyway. He then popped a cherry tomato right into his mouth. Observing the disgusted reaction, I remembered that Myke is colorblind.
He was so mad.

The world has been speaking to me through art lately, I no longer think of words but yet objects or faces. The world and I are connecting on a new level and the daily dosage has been intoxicating. Prescribed by me, offered to everyone.

Think of your absolute favorite place in the world, the one environment you could never get sick of. Hold onto it, re-create parts of it. Close your eyes and become it. It is healthy to have somewhere to go, especially when it feels like your life is falling apart.
